My first set of sketches... Not really anything glorious to behold. Wasn't sure of what to do, but I really liked the ibex so I wanted to work with that.
After our sketch critique, I had this idea to make a more linear ibex (top sketch). I didnt make its horns long enough, so it looked like a gazelle. Thats where I got that idea.
I played with the idea of a giraffe, but I decided it was just too tall. The bottom is one of the more final gazelle prelim sketches.
